Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of EinkDashboard ("the Service"), operated by einkdashboard.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Description of Service

EinkDashboard is a cloud-based platform that generates dashboard images for display on E-ink Kindle devices and similar screens. The Service allows you to connect third-party data sources (such as Google Calendar, Todoist, and weather providers), configure a widget layout, and receive a unique Magic Link that displays a static dashboard image on your Kindle's built-in browser — with no jailbreaking, no coding, and no device modifications required.

Account Registration

To access full features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your account credentials secure.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Magic Links

Upon creating a dashboard, you will receive a unique Magic Link URL. This link:

• Does not require authentication to view and is accessible to anyone who has it.
• Should be treated as semi-private — share it only with people you trust to view your dashboard.
• Can be regenerated at any time from your account settings, which will invalidate the previous link.

We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from a shared or exposed Magic Link.

Third-Party Integrations

The Service connects to third-party APIs including Google Calendar, Todoist, and OpenWeatherMap. By connecting these integrations, you:

• Authorize us to access the relevant data on your behalf using OAuth.
• Acknowledge that the availability and accuracy of data depend on those third-party services.
• Understand that we are not responsible for disruptions, changes, or termination of those third-party services.

You may revoke integrations at any time from your account settings.

Kindle Device Compatibility

EinkDashboard is designed to work with Kindle's built-in browser. However:

• We do not guarantee compatibility with every Kindle model or firmware version.
• We do not provide support for device hardware issues.
• You use the Service on your Kindle device at your own risk. No jailbreak or modification to your device is required or recommended.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to display illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our APIs.
• Circumvent rate limits or access controls.
• Use the Service in a manner that could damage or overload our infrastructure.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and generated assets, is owned by EinkDashboard. Your dashboard configurations and connected data remain yours. We do not claim ownership of any content from your connected third-party accounts.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Dashboard image generation depends on the availability of third-party data sources. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, modify features, or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove your data from our systems.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EinkDashboard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or disruption to your Kindle device.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. If changes are material, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
